Work order management software, from request to close

FindThings IQ manages work orders from request to close: anyone can submit a work request, a manager approves it, a technician works the checklist on a phone (even offline), logs parts, time and downtime, and closes it with the cost priced automatically. It is on Office Premium ($149.00 / month).

Frequently asked questions

Can people outside the maintenance team submit requests?
Yes. Anyone with a login can report a problem; a manager approves it before it becomes a job.
Does it work on a phone without signal?
Yes, on Office Premium the job list works offline and syncs when back online.
How is work order cost calculated?
When a job closes with no labor cost typed in, logged hours are priced at the site's hourly labor rate; a typed cost is never overwritten.
Do technicians need paid seats?
No. Field Worker logins are unlimited on paid plans.

Not the right tool if you need

  • IT asset discovery or device management: there is no network scanning, agent or MDM.
  • GPS or telematics tracking of vehicles and moving equipment.
  • Certified audits or compliance attestation (OSHA, EPA, ISO, HIPAA): FindThings keeps the records, it does not certify them.
  • A contractual uptime SLA: availability is best effort.
  • Replacing an ERP or accounting system: financial output is depreciation, Cost-to-Keep and a depreciation journal file.
  • Predictive maintenance from sensors or IoT: meter readings are entered by people, not streamed.
